The Plumeria comes from the floristic realm of Neotropics (region with specific flora), which includes the countries of South America and Central America. In the summer we enjoy white, yellow, light pink and orange petals of the flower, that can be admired in the flowering period from May to August. There are approx. 20 different varieties of the flower, which is also known under the name frangipani. In bouquets and floral arrangements, the frangipani belonging to the dogbane family is often combined with stylish callas, hibiscus and sprigs of orchids.
